Registration for Tackle Football

Practice

Game Day

1. Registration opens March 1st, 2025.

2. Registration fees are $200.

3. Registration fee covers:

-Team uniform

-Team Jogger

-Equipment rental- Cardinal Red Helmet and Shoulder Pads on 1st come basis

-League fees-MSYFL Player fees and insurance

-Player ID Badges-Football ID badges

-Banquet- Includes Food, Fun and Trophy

 

$10.00 Sibling Fee Discount (for players living in same household)

$15.00 Early Bird Discount (for those that register and complete payment before May 1, 2025.)

Registration must be paid before August 2, 2025 TO AVOID $25 LATE FEE

NOTE: In order to participate in uniform and equipment fittings, you must have a minimum of $125.00 of your fees paid.  Delays in payment will result in a delay in receiving equipment an may cause a delay in your player(s) ability to practice with the team and enhance their skills.

For Flag Football and 7v7 Football please complete registration via the link and email your player's birth certificate to rcctboardmember@gmail.com.

For Tackle Football and Cheerleading please upload your birth certificate to the site and complete the registration form via the blue sombrero site. Delaying this step will also result in a delay with unform fittings, equipment fittings and practices.  If you have issues uploading your documents to the site please send them via email.

Conditioning Camp

Conditioning Camp will jump start the evaluation of the players and will initiate the assignment of the teams. The players are assigned based on their ability to perform at their experience level.

The Football camp registration fee is $25 which will cover a camp t-shirt, give-away prizes and organization fees. See Flyer attached.

 

To register for camp you must be registered for the season. Once you have registered, log in to your blue sombrero account. Click on Conditioning Camp Registration, sign up and pay $25 camp fee. You will receive an email about conditioning camp dates and times. Please check your email daily as schedules are subject to change.

2025 Schedule

​Practice

1. All practices will be held on our Home field or practice field located at the Veterans Memorial Park in Lavergne, TN. 

2. Practices will be held during rain, and snow; however adverse weather conditions such as a heat advisory or lightning may lead to an adjustment to the practice schedule

3. ONLY CERTIFIED COACHES will be allowed on PRACTICE/GAME Fields.

4. Children will be picked up from each team's DESIGNATED PRACTICE FIELDS. 

​5. Practice will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:00p.m-8:00p.m.

The schedule will depend on the coach in your age division. If you do not have the communication app for your players, please click this link to email your coach. 

During the first two weeks of practice, players are evaluated and assigned to a team based on their ability and experience level. It is the goal of the league to have players of equal experience compete with equal competition. Players are broken into triple, double and single level teams in each age bracket. 

Uniform Fittings

The schedule and location for uniform fittings will be updated in your email that's connected to your blue sombrero account. Registration fees are due by August 2, 2025. Please check your email daily for updates.

All players who have signed up or the season must be fitted for uniforms (Game Jersey & Game Pants). It is important for your player to be measured & sized on one of the listed dates. You WILL NOT receive uniforms on fitting dates. You will receive uniforms prior to the first in season scrimmage.
 

All players who have signed up or the season must be fitted for helmet & shoulder pads. For your players safety they are required to be fitted. Upon being fitted on one of the above listed dates, your player WILL take home their helmet and shoulder pads for the season.

Gameday

Game Day

1. Home games are usually played on Saturdays at Veterans Memorial Park.

2. All players are permitted to arrive to the game 1 1/2 hour earlier than the game time!

3. All players must be in uniform and report to their coach after sign in!

4. Players must be weighed in 30 minutes prior to game time.

If not, by law,  your player may not play until after halftime.

​5. Please review weight limit for concerns to advance the ball at each level.

6. For the safety of the children, coaches and officials, All PARENTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS MUST REMAIN OFF THE FIELD AND OFF THE SIDELINES DURING GAMES! We love your support and appreciate ALL you do! From the sidelines! Refusal of this rule will result in consequences.
